A national network built for the future of Afghan sport.
The Afghanistan Sports Journalists Federation (ASJF) is the official national organization representing sports journalists in Afghanistan.
Founded in Kabul in 2014 and recognized by AIPS, ASJF brings professionals together across the country and connects Afghan sports media with the global sports journalism community.
Our mission is to promote professional, ethical, independent and inclusive sports journalism through training, mentorship, accreditation, international exposure, advocacy and equal opportunity for women and young journalists.
Our vision: a professional, inclusive and globally recognized sports-media ecosystem in Afghanistan that informs, inspires and empowers society.
International connection: ASJF works under the umbrella of AIPS and connects members with international congresses, training programmes, press cards and global sports-media standards.
