Afghanistan Sport Journalists’ Federation ASJF
The ASJF Commissions are permanent or ad hoc technical and advisory bodies established by the ASJF Congress or the ASJF Executive Committee to support the achievement of the Federation’s objectives. Each Commission shall be responsible for developing, promoting, and overseeing activities within its designated area of responsibility, in accordance with the ASJF Statutes, regulations, and decisions of the ASJF Congress and the ASJF Executive Committee.
The Commissions shall provide recommendations, technical expertise, and reports to the ASJF Executive Committee and the ASJF Congress. They shall not have independent decision-making authority beyond the powers delegated to them by the ASJF Congress or the ASJF Executive Committee.
Cricket Commission
The Cricket Commission shall be responsible for all matters relating to cricket, including technical rules, competitions, athlete development, coaching, officiating, rankings, and the promotion and growth of cricket within the ASJF.
Football Commission
The Football Commission shall be responsible for all matters relating to football, including technical rules, competitions, athlete development, coaching, officiating, rankings, and the promotion and growth of football within the ASJF.
Olympics Commission
The Colympics Commission is responsible for the planning, organization, and development of the ASJF Colympics. It oversees competition formats, event management, host selection, and technical standards.
Women’s Commission
The ASJF Women’s Commission is an advisory body responsible for promoting women’s participation, development, and representation within the Federation.
The Commission shall provide recommendations and support initiatives related to women’s athletes, leadership, education, equality, and inclusion.
Trainings Commission
The ASJF Training Commission is an advisory body responsible for developing and promoting training, education, and capacity-building programmes within the Federation.
The Commission shall provide recommendations and support initiatives related to athlete, coach, referee, and official development.
Awards Commission
The ASJF Awards Commission is an advisory body responsible for managing and promoting the Federation’s awards and recognition programmes.
The Commission shall establish recommendations for award criteria, nominations, and recognition of outstanding athletes, coaches, officials, and contributors.
