President Message

It is my great honor and privilege to serve as the President of the Afghanistan Sports Journalists Federation (ASJF) and to represent a community of dedicated sports journalists and media professionals committed to the development and advancement of sports journalism in Afghanistan.

Sports journalism is more than reporting results and achievements; it is a bridge that connects athletes, communities, and nations. Through responsible, ethical, and professional journalism, we preserve sporting history, celebrate the dedication of athletes, promote the values of fairness and respect, and contribute to the positive development of society through sport.

The Afghanistan Sports Journalists Federation is committed to strengthening the standards of sports journalism in Afghanistan by supporting media professionals, encouraging professional development, promoting ethical reporting, and creating stronger cooperation among journalists, sports organizations, national institutions, and international partners.

In an era of rapid changes in the media landscape, ASJF recognizes the importance of innovation, digital transformation, and capacity building. We are dedicated to empowering Afghan sports journalists with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities required to meet modern challenges and to represent Afghan sport with accuracy, professionalism, and integrity.
